Hawaii Land Court Bill Signed into Law


Issue Brief

H.B. 423  aims to remove the current 2014 sunset provision that is contained as part of the voluntary deregistration for timeshare interests from the Land Court system.


Passage of this bill will continue to allow for the orderly deregistration of timeshare interests from Land Court saving time and money and providing for more efficiencies in the recordation system.

The bill passed both houses of the Hawaii Legislature and was signed into law by the Governor on June 18, 2013.
