Live
Social Content Encourages Attendees to Share Their Convention Experience

WASHINGTON,
March 31, 2015 – This year’s ARDA World Convention and Exposition will feature a digital content
component—The Digital Zone—for attendees to interact with fellow attendees (and
also non-attendees), speakers, and presenters about their experience at the
industry’s largest global networking conference and educational event in
real-time.
The
Digital Zone will broadcast from the center of the Exhibition Hall with an
ongoing social media feed for attendees using the hashtag #ARDAWorld, and
provide a daily digest on ARDA Insight’s blog about top takeaways from educational wave sessions and forums
at the end of each day.
“With so much great content being
shared at Convention, the Digital Zone gives everyone an opportunity to get in
on the action. We will provide real-time
updates, posts and conversations across all our social media channels,” said Peter
Roth, VP, Marketing and Communications of the American Resort Development
Association (ARDA). “We’re excited to
engage directly with attendees on the many topics covered each day, including
corporate social responsibility, how social apps have paved a new way to
communicate with owners, and the development of new digital programs to reach
an important segment of future owners—the Millennial
generation,” Roth continued.
For those who are unable to attend
the event but would like to participate and interact with some of the featured
panelists, the Digital Zone will also host online, exclusive interviews on
Twitter—follow @ARDAorg, and send questions to #askARDA.
Attendees looking to bookmark the
event in their business travel portfolio can snap a selfie with ARDA President
Howard Nusbaum, or take a picture in the photo booth with friends and
colleagues as an ARDA World 2015 souvenir.
To
join in the discussion, follow ARDA on Twitter @ARDAorg
or share your experience on Facebook.
