ARDA-WIN Content Group Objectives 

Diversity & Inclusion 

The ARDA-WIN Diversity & Inclusion Content Group aims to enhance awareness of the benefits of embracing effective diversity and inclusion practices in the vacation industry.  We will strive to educate individuals and organizations to promote an environment and culture that fosters creativity, productivity and mutual respect of all people and their unique attributes, characteristics and perspectives.  The ARDA-WIN Diversity and Inclusion Content Group actions and programs are subject to review and approval of the ARDA-WIN Committee and/or ARDA.

Mentoring 

The ARDA-WIN Mentoring Content Group is responsible for the design, development, implementation and administration of a mentoring program for the ARDA-WIN membership to include mentoring guidelines, mentoring tips, cross-company confidentiality and rules, and electronic mentoring ‘marketplace’. This mentoring program is being built and coming soon! The ARDA-WIN Mentoring program is subject to review and approval of the ARDA-WIN Committee and/or ARDA.

Networking 

The ARDA-WIN Networking Content Group is responsible for the growth and retention of the membership base.  In addition, this content group is responsible for creating and  overseeing networking opportunities to sustain the membership as well as attract non-members to join (For example:  WIN Wednesdays).  Recommendations from the Networking Content Group are subject to review and approval of the ARDA-WIN Committee and/or ARDA.

Philanthropy & Social Responsibility 

The ARDA-WIN Philanthropy and Social Responsibility Content Group is responsible for receiving and implementing suggested fundraising initiatives, establishing protocol for the fundraising initiatives and the charitable organization(s) benefiting from these initiatives.   The ARDA-WIN Philanthropy and Social Responsibility Content Group planned actions are subject to review and approval of the ARDA-WIN Committee and/or ARDA.

Meetings & Events  

This content group is responsible for the coordination and execution of one (1) annual, stand-alone conference for the ARDA-WIN membership, and up to a maximum of three (3) smaller events in conjunction with the annual ARDA World Convention, ARDA Fall Conference, and/or ARDA regional meeting(s). These planned meetings and events are to demonstrate the core mission and objectives of the ARDA-WIN Committee. The planned actions of the ARDA-WIN Meetings and Events Content Group are subject to review and approval of the ARDA-WIN Committee and/or ARDA. 

Communications 

This content group was created to help inform and engage ARDA-WIN members, while also reaching out to the ARDA membership at large to encourage participation in this group’s overall activities. This content group supports ARDA by helping to publicize specific ARDA-WIN events and programs (via print media, social media, etc.). The team works closely with ARDA MarComm & Membership staff and consists of a core group and representatives from the other content groups, so all the various initiatives are promoted.
